In the new edition of the World's Top 2% Scientists list, there are 23 CiBB scientists, more precisely in the list of the most cited researchers in 2023.
This study was coordinated by John Ioannidis, a professor at Stanford University (United States of America), who is currently collaborating with the UC, being the leader of the ERA Chair EXCELScIOR, coordinated by CNC-UC / CiBB.
This year's survey analyzed data from 223,152 scientists from all over the world, 889 of whom are linked to Portuguese higher education and research institutions.
The data presented in this study, published by the prestigious Elsevier publishing house, is collected from Scopus, and considers the index, volume of publications and citations of scientists from all over the world.
